Love Finds You in Glacier Bay, Alaska is a beautiful love story with amazing historical facts written by Tricia Goyer and Ocienna Fleiss.  It is a story that will keep you spell-bound for hours on end.  You will live in the present day time, learning about the hurts that Ginny has endured and you will see the beauty of a man who loves God and desires to help Ginny find his love, as well.  Brett offers each of us an opportunity to learn how to forgive someone and how to walk that person in a loving and gentle way to the cross.

Through the letters Brett’s Grandmother shares with Ginny, you are able to learn beautiful historical facts.  These facts are imbedded in another love story-another woman who ran to Alaska after having been hurt and while she was there, she found more than she ever imagined.

I love reading, but tend to stay away from fiction…yet, this book is truly so full of God’s love and historical information, it is one that I recommend for every woman to read.  It would even be good for a young single woman – to help her know that there is a danger in giving your heart away – and a danger in keeping it from Christ.

If you have a heart that has been hurt, it will minister to those wounds.  Perhaps you are someone prone to finding those hurt in the world and need to understand new ways of helping reach the hurting.  I truly believe that while this book is written in a fiction format, it helps lay a foundation – I was not expecting.  Through the words in the book and the characters, I have experienced healing, myself.  Reading God’s words in this book while mixed with the daily life of others is beautiful and I will forever be grateful for being part of the launch team for Love Finds You in Glacier Bay, Alaska
