He walked into my life, this man. My man.
My Beloved.
He met the credentials of my little girl list, tall, blond hair, blue eyes and a smile that would melt the world.
And he did- melt.my.world.
My Beloved.
We were young, no clue, and no true love for the God who had plans bigger than we could ever dream.
Our world collided during a time of self-discovery and the beginning of wars that now continue.
He, in his uniform, rushing off to support that war. Me, a young girl, just beginning life, trying to find the classes just right for the life ahead, of which I had lost hope of praying over.
My parent’s divorce, my brother’s death and other disappointments in life that made it seem as though no one was listening.
We married, he divorced me. God restored what no man should tear apart
My Beloved.
There was a plan bigger than ours. One that would piece together a broken heart and continue the journey that God created. A journey no others can take.
Today, we see God’s bigger plan, or tiny specks. We learned how to be one through forgiveness, and seasons of busyness of little babes. The babes now entering new years of growth, growing this Mama and
my Beloved.
His days are long, not here, but at work. He works hard (as many do) and he leads through the phone, quick conversations and hugs that carry me through the day and kisses that still make me want to melt into the sweet surrender of his arms.
My Beloved.
Together, we are one. Love, forgiveness, passion, tears, babes, trials and triumphs. We have experienced more than most would imagine and have come back together through pain and sorrow that many can not understand.
Until they sit at the cross and fully breath in the truth of the one who gave all…..
our Beloved.

Thank you Brianna. God is good. Going through the trials, it’s hard to see that, until you have really experienced it and felt His power – in his YEs and his NO. Thank you for stopping by.
You have no idea how you have encouraged me in my prayers for two couples. God had you write this today for me most of all. Thank you.
